Hal & Sandy Burdsall live near Madison with their 3 gaited mules: Cody (25), Tucker (10) and Gabby Hayes (9). They joined WDMS in 2000 when they realized what fun donkey and mule people had at their shows. Hal started participating with his mules (Cody & Francis) in 2003 and Sandy "gave it a go" (in slow motion) in 2005 with her new mule, Tucker. They participated with the club in the 2005 Midwest Horse Fair with Tucker and Francis and in 2007 & 2008 with Tucker and Gabby. They enjoy "playing" with the boys, teaching them how to be gentlemen on the ground, and how to handle obstacles on the trail. Gabby is their most recent addition (2006) who is also learning to drive.  Hal and Sandy were new to equine in 1998 when Hal found Cody and Sandy started with a Tennessee Walking Horse. They have both served on the WDMS Board. Sandy is currently the WDMS Secretary & Webmaster and Hal is a Director & WDMS State Show Co-Chair.
