Directions

Tomah Saddle Club Grounds are on the southeast side of Tomah on Grain Avenue.  See Map

 

From Madison: Where I-90/94 divides before Tomah, follow I-90 West toward LaCrosse. From I-90, take exit #43 onto Hwy. 12 & 16 West. After a short distance, turn left onto Winnebago Avenue at Tomah Transit Trucking. This will curve to the right and turn into Grain Avenue.  The Saddle Club will be on your left.

 

From Black River Falls/ Eau Claire: Take Exit #143 off I-94. Turn right onto North Superior Avenue and proceed through five sets of traffic lights. At the fifth set of lights, turn left onto E. Clifton Street. Shortly after the Daybreak Inn Motel on the right, turn right onto Grain Avenue. The Saddle Club grounds will be on the right.

 

From Hwy. 12 & 16 heading West to Tomah After the I-90 underpass,  turn left onto Winnebago Ave. at Tomah Transit Trucking Co.  Winnebago  will curve right and turn into Grain Avenue with the Saddle Club grounds on the left.

 

From LaCrosse:  Take exit #41 off I-90. Turn left onto Superior Avenue. At the lights (.9 miles), turn right onto E. Clifton Street.  Shortly after the Daybreak Inn Motel, turn right onto Grain Avenue. Tomah Saddle Club Grounds will be on your right.

Open (13) - Mules (3) - Donkeys (3) - 12 & Under (4)

 

1 Poles - Mules
2 Poles - Donkeys
3 Poles - 12 & under
4 Standing Jump - 56" and under (open)
5 Standing Jump - 56.01" and over (open)
6 Fast "Ass" Express (open) (draw for teams, triple entry fee)
  A team of 3 people. The first person will start and pass a saddle bag on to the second person, who will pass it on to the third person, who will finish the race. 
7 Tire Race  (open)
8 Panty Hose Race (double entry - open)
9 Egg and Spoon  (open)
10 Catalog Race (open)
11 Half “Ass” Polo (open) - may be changed for 2006
  Each player will receive a croquet type mallet and a playground type ball. Get the ball across the finish line with the best time.

  Go over a jump, do a figure 8 around two barrels, over the jump again to the finish line.

22 Bare “Ass” Barrels (bareback - open)
23 Ride A Buck (bareback - open)
   

Negative Coggins (dated after 1-1-2006)
required for all animals.
Bring the original + copy for our records.

food stand on grounds

Orange juice, Coffee

Lunch:

Brats, hot dogs, BBQ
Chips, candy bars, pickles
Coke products, bottled water
Hot chocolate

 

Camping

Camping on the grounds OK for Friday night:

 

 No electric

No horses in arena at night
